Farmer of the south west region turns out in the number to weakness the launching of the 2017 farming season. 10 March 2017 was one of the fascinating days to the habitants of Buea on the launching of the farming season for the Southern regions. Knowing the importance Agriculture plays to the economy off any nation. The town of Buea played host to a memorable day where a stream of government ministers led by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, accompanied they by the Minister of Youths and Civic Education, Minister of Forestry and Wild Life and the Minister Delegate at the Minister in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development were in the South West Region to launch the farming season.
The launching of the 2017 farming season for the southern region of Cameroon at the esplanade of the molyko omnisport stadium had three major activities on the agenda:
First of all, launching of the farming season for the southern part of Cameroon holding this year in Buea, south –west Region.
Secondly, a meeting between the members of government and the youths on the various opportunities available and vocational training courses offered in the agricultural sector in Cameroon.
And finally, launching of the training on cocoa trades development by the national Cocoa Academy in the south-west Region.
As usual, MINADER Offered (free of charge) tools such as watering cans seedling. Groves and other inputs to over 100 young farmers and other farmer related organization. The beneficiaries manifested their delight and appreciated the government’s gesture through MINADER and promised to work harder and improve their productivity.
